The book is for 6-10-year-olds. It is also a great tool for parents and teachers to begin conversations on diversity and being different from those around us. There is a note for parents and teachers in the storybook to help them do this.
Why should you introduce Ginny to children?
Children come across several characters through videos, films, and storybooks. Children often see parts of these characters in themselves. They form views about how the world might be around them in terms of: who all belong to this world. what is acceptable? what is not acceptable? and so on. Stories and characters can form a bridge between different parts of our world.

Most importantly, she feels comfortable and blooms in the company of people who accept her as she is!
